Lowering cellular data cont.

Adding something new, daily tips. I always feel like there's something new I learned, or things that work out for me that I should share.

To continue on the lowering cellular data, as well as using the app, I also turn my cellular data off at certain times.

Mainly when I am home I I try to always turn off my cellular data. I already pay for the internet services at home, I might as well tap into those resources! I have noticed a significant difference!

Yet, there are negatives to turning off cellular data. One is not all text messages get to you by just regular service and wifi, especially ones from android users. (I have an iPhone) also you do not get voicemails. These are the 2 downsides that I have found so far.

Solution? I just turn on my cellular data every few hours if I'm home long.

Other than my house, I also use my jobs wifi, school wifi, anywhere that is free! I rather miss a few text, then to pay $15 more on Fees. Plus I find that the wifi internet is so much more efficient and faster than my cellular data.
Here is a screen shot of the app I used in the previous post. It says 92% of my usage is from wifi. I like those numbers! I hope you enjoy today's tip. I am surely interested in your ways on lowering cellular usage.

Lowering cellular data usage

It's a little late, but it's better than never. I always tell myself just post it next week. But instead, I decided to just post late. I should probably add on my New Years resolution is to be more on time and post more frequently.  Anyways

This week, because New Years is around the corner I been trying to figure out ways to lower my spending and finding ways to save money.
Besides my car payment, my cellphone bill is crazy! I have AT&T, and I swear they added all these crazy new charges. Like a mobile internet share charge. Anyways getting off topic. BUT, i am on a family plan, which they say is a good deal. Yet somehow we always, always go over on cellular data! Which is even more annoying because sometimes I pass it like right before midnight. So not only do I have to pay $15 for a whole gig! I didn't even get to use that gig!! (There needs to be rollover data!)  so i decided to find ways to see how I am using my data! This app comes in handy it's called my data manager.
Here are a few screen shots within the app it tells you how much is left in your plan and how much you have used and predicted for the rest of the day
The app also shows you a graph on your daily habits.
I really enjoy this app because it shows where I need to improve on cutting back.

Netflix Monday

This week I watched this series called United States Tara.
In this series, it is about a woman who suffers from multiple personalities. I am not sure if my Netflix is trying to tell me something, but this show was in my reccomended things to watch. I guess I have a slight case of multiple personalities.
Great show, it's really funny to see the differnt sides of Tara, and how it affects her family. I guess you can say this show is somewhat informative for those suffering with this illness. But on the other hand it is really funny! And her personalities really drew me in! I wanted to watch more so I could get to know each of her personalities. I must say tho, the actress Toni Collette is amazing she really gets into character, she really owns each personality.

Useful YouTube

Gonna start posting things I find on YouTube. Any time I have an problem, I always go to YouTube.
This post, I want to talk about this user the KGB survivalist. He has a lot of useful videos to survive if the zombie apocalypse ever happens or the grid was to ever shut down, he teaches you things you might need to know. I learned how to open a can with just concrete. Very useful for camping and if someone forgets the can opener. He has a lot of videos check him out.

Curvy fashion Friday

Always know what fits your body type. I look best with a flowy empire dress to hide my stomach. The dress was a tunic in a few sizes too big! I used a belt to cinch my waist, to give off a more flattering figure. Always play up your best features. For me, my best feature is my boobs so I like to play it up. Once you understand what fits your body type, you will feel more comfy and confident!
