Dragon box. Streaming TV

Trying to get my grove back on blogging. Unfortunelty a lot of my time off I have been wasting on playing with my somewhat new toy.
It's called a dragon box. There are many different types of this kind of device, this is the one I have. But basically if you stream videos online it's the same concept. Except it is on your tv instead! Oh and the best part! No pop ups!!! Netflix without the monthly fees

Pros
---------
- Cancel cable. It has everything down to sports

-No commercials

-Many apps already preloaded like Netflix! (But you don't need to use Netflix)

-One price, no monthly. Except you need to have good wifi.

Cons
------
-You need good wifi. Especially if there is mutiple devices in your home. I have a AC1900 I think router. I was using a AC300 router at first and it wasn't enough. Most times it would work but nothing else could be on.

- it's only one box. So you will fight family members to use.

Honestly i absolutely love this thing. I insist you get one its a game changer!

I got my box from a friend and they do not have a website but! I know another website who sells a similar product. My friend tells me it's better than dragon box. Thinking about buying it to reduce the fighting over this one box!

Hulu plus

Trying out Hulu, because I am quickly running out of things to watch. This is a brief review since it has only been 2 days of use.  Although I like that Hulu has a lot of to date episodes, I feel as if it is very limited. Some shows only have the recent season, and others have all seasons. Another downside to Hulu is the commercial breaks. So one has to ponder if 8 bucks is worth spending.

Adventure capitalist game

Tried this game out, adventure capitalist.

You are an investor and You start with a lemonade stand, and as your lemonade stand earns more money, the stand grows. As the money grows you invest in other company's, i.e. Hockey team, newspaper, shrimp boat, etc. and you just watch your money grow. Very basic game.
Within a day I was a billionaire, and almost bought all the companies. At fist it was interesting to watch the money grow. But, there isn't really any objectives other than make more money. You just keep expanding, you get unlocked prizes like a car and a mansion but the game lacks adventure. I am already bored of the game. Within one day! I guess it needs a little more. Try it out, but it's not really for me.

Instagraming for a bargain

Recently, I started following a bunch of "Instagram boutiques" especially in my area. It's like shopping at savers, except you don't have to search every single aisle for a steal.
Here is my boutique, an example of how people sell their items, they have meet ups or shipping depending on the seller.
Recently bought these shorts, for $5. Super comfy shorts. I plan on using it when I go Disneyland! Check out your nearest Instagram boutique.

Into the future, on Netflix

Recently, on Netflix I watched a bunch of fantasy shows, where they go into the future. All different but somewhat the same, yet most tv shows always have a rise and fall.

The first show I watched was revolution. It's about how one day all power gets turned off, and 15 years later this girl tries to figure out what happened 15 years ago. The first season was pretty interesting, second season gets kinda bland. I do although like the idea of going off the grid learning to survive without the means of electronic technology! Not permanently but it would be a nice skill to learn.

This one is more further into the future, nuclear bombs went off due to wars and made the earth unlivable so everyone moved into space until radiation levels are safe. Hundred years or so years later they send 100 underage delinquents to see if earth is sustainable. This show is more for teens, but the fact that they come to earth after, and all the new things that has formed on earth makes this show interesting.

Last into the future show I watched is, terra nova. This I found very interesting, except there is only one season. Way into the future, we ruin the earth from technology and polluting the air. I really don't know how to explain it but they go into time into a parrallel universe or something. And they go so far back with dinosaurs but yet they have all this interesting technology! The fact that they have to escape their own timeline due to technology and pollution just only proves that maybe the first show revolution displays something we need to learn. I like that in this show they have a mix of technology but also use sustainability.

Hanging clothes, saving money

This not the most luxurious chore but cutting down expenses anyway possible is the goal. If I can save a few dollars I'm doing it! (Well attempt).
Hanging clothes is not the most fun task but it really reduces electric bill and I like to think that it extends life of clothes. Dryer process I think shortens the life of clothes.
This morning I picked up this hanger from Longs Drugs. It was on sale for $2.99 I used it for under garments like socks. This is a good product for just starting to hang clothes.

There are many ways to incorporate hang drying into your life. I hope it saves you money!

Overnight oatmeal with chia seeds.

Recently I have been on Pinterest, and i kept seeing this overnight oatmeal with chia seeds. it is said to be healthy and a very good breakfast treat. so i decided to try it.

i got this post straight from Pinterest, and it is linked to this blog that Oven Feeling. Which this blog has a lot of amazing recipes. ones i might have to try myself.
this is the original recipe from the website. Unfortunately i did not have all the ingredients i used what i had.
Chia seeds i got from my sister-in-law.
I did not have plain oatmeal, but it works out because i did not have dried fruits, this is my replacment. to me it worked out well.  i also added a dash of coconut milk. But i used a generic brand and it did not have a strong coconut milk flavor.
so here are a few pictures of my run. left is before, and the right picture is the next morning. I did not realize how thick the consistency was gonna be, on the Pinterest post said to add milk to lessen the thickness. I also forgot to add honey, but it was not too bad without it, just a tad bit bland but i think that maybe the extra flavor from my oatmeal helped. I must say that the oatmeal actually held me over till late afternoon so i really enjoy this breakfast, because i can snack all day unless i have something to hold me over. try it out let me know how you like it. I am gonna try different variations of this oatmeal.
